Mary and Leah are depressed, after one has lost her husband to a random act
of violence and the other has been given a dishonorable discharge from the army
where she served as a journalist in the war. In an attempt to regain control of their
lives, they take a road trip that results in disaster when they hit a man while
traveling on the highway. What will they do with the mysterious amnesiac
foreigner who has abruptly entered their world?
